I want you to know that I am terrible at math.
Your program is the second that I downloaded in an attmept to get myself the extra help that I need. (The first was the Algebrator) Not only was PAT less expensive, it is much more user friendly than the Algebrator. I now think that I might stand a chance in the cold, cold world of math. (Ha)

A number of years ago I purchased PAT for Windows 95. I found this to be an extraordinary tool during my college level studies. I really like the program and the ease of use as compared to the MathSoft or Mathematica programs. Now my daughter is in high school and I have recommended this program to her. When we tried to load it on our new computer equipped with XP it fails to run. I also attempted to load it on another PC that we have that is running ME an got the same results.
My question is two fold, I have two versions of this program the first is
Version 1.08 and I was upgraded to version 1.10. Is there something that I
need to do to get this version to run on the newer operating systems? If
not do I qualify for any upgrades at a reduced cost?

As a customer, you are entitled to a free upgrade with no time limits
Download the latest version, and call for a password.
You are one of our very old customers, and I am happy to see that PAT is still being used by your family.
The customer simply needed to download the new version. The original purchase date was March 8, 1998. Customer was still using PAT and getting free upgrades in September 2004.
PAT was originally used by the father for college algebra, then used by his daughter in high school more than 6 years later.
There was no extra charge.
I recently purchased the personal algebra tutor from your website and find it extremely helpful.

I have tried both your word problem solver and PAT. Both programs are excellent. Do you have a basic goemetry program, for high school level that solves for cones, triangles, area, etc.? If you don't could you recommend a program and where to get it? I am using a PC with an windows XP platform.

I want to thank you for all your help and support throughout Algebra I & II.
I made it through Algebra I with an 86%, and with only the finals remaining,
