What You Enter
A store wants to mix two grades of coffee. One sells for $.80 per pound and one sells for $1.20 per pound. He wants to sell the mixture for $1.10 per pound. If he has 25 pounds of the $.80 per pound coffee, how much of the $1.20 must he use?

What You Get
Let Y = Pounds of Y at $1.2

1.2Y + 25*0.8 = 1.1(Y + 25)
120Y + 25*80 = (Y + 25)110
120Y + 25*80 = 110Y + 25*110
+10*Y = 25(110 - 80)
+10*Y = 750

Y = 75 Y = 75
